During his 33 years as the headmaster of Summit School and in the years since his retirement, Doug Lewis has given thousands of hours to civic initiatives and leadership roles to improve the quality of life and equity across the community.

Monica serves those who need help accessing medical services by working at Wake Forest Baptist Health Medical Plaza. What we have in common: Concern about local educational organizations. Concern about local leaders and centers of power.

Doug served Summit School as its Principal for 30 years. He is currently restoring 3 houses by himself. His greatest struggle seems to be the loss of his hearing but his mind is still SHARP. He has great vision, manual dexterity, creativity and a sense of humor.
