Bobby Roebuck is a photojournalist who donates his artistic perspective to support his community and history. He does so by capturing important stories, such as job training programs for the formerly incarcerated and homeless. 

Born legally blind, Stephanie Davis has dedicated her life to serving visually impaired people through community outreach and disability rights advocacy.

I wanted to capture the photographer in Bobby, bring out the kid in Bobby with martial arts and show that Bobby loves to read. (He met his wife at a bookstore) I captured these using props, his imagination and his bubbly attitude.

Stephanie serves the visual impaired community of Winston-Salem, people with low and no vision. She has been doing that for seven years. I wanted to capture her close up of her smile, beauty and character.
