The founder of Ministries Beyond Welcome, Liam Hooper is a trans activist, justice worker and interfaith minister who pursues intersectional equity through radical love. “It’s the relational work between us, the bravery and willingness that will save us.”
At her health clinic, Beatriz Harry bridges the language barrier through volunteer interpretation. She wants immigrants and impoverished communities to have better access to social services.

Liam serves the LGBTQ community by educating about transgender people, decolonization and race. He is humble, strong and has a good heart. I captured this by asking him about things in his life. You can get a lot when you are interested in what somebody is telling you.
