Katherine Perry

Katherine is from Grandview Crossing, Winston-Salem and represents the Northwest Ward. Before working with the Winston-Salem Portrait Project, Katherine was involved in the Arts Council, and is still very involved in the arts community today.

She was very impressed with how Winston-Salem reinvented itself as a community. By turning the tobacco and textiles industries into arts and innovation. After hearing about The Winston-Salem Portrait Project, she felt the need to take a role in it.

Katherine is also the Program Director of Leadership Winston-Salem, and is connected to an array of people that she believes will hopefully represent and appropriately take part in this project. She wants to help get the ball rolling in a positive way and continue to see change.
