Cindy represents the South Ward of Winston-Salem. Cindy and her husband moved to Washington Park twenty-seven years ago, and she immediately fell in love with the diversity. She continues to feed off of the energy from UNC-School of the Arts, as well as Old Salem and downtown. She was intrigued by connecting different people in parts of the city together and wanted to be a part of the Winston-Salem Portrait Project process.
